The data behind CashPrice

Every number is extracted from a US hospital's own machine-readable "standard charges" file, mandated under 45 CFR 180. Coverage today: 7 hospitals, 7 metros, 30 shoppable procedures, 109 stated cash prices (+ 84 estimated-from-min, flagged).

Free JSON API

• GET /api/procedures — the shoppable-procedure catalog (slug, name, CPT/HCPCS).
• GET /api/procedure/<slug> — every hospital's cash price for one procedure (+ ?metro=).
• GET /api/coverage — coverage stats.

Bulk dataset / agents

The full normalized cross-hospital dataset (every procedure × hospital, stated + estimated, with source file URL + extraction basis) is available as a single download for benefits teams, price-shopping startups and agents — x402-payable (USDC on Base, keyless) or via paid key. See /developers.
